For Yvette, it means the world that she can say, “I feel better at 50 than I did at 30.”

Four years ago, she lived with health concerns in regards to her joints. She felt so “miserable” that her entire demeanor was off.

When Yvette’s friend introduced her to Kyäni, Yvette instantly pushed back and refused to have any part of it. The following week, her friend tried again, knowing how challenging Yvette’s situation had become. Yvette finally gave in and began with the Triangle of Health.

Soon Yvette noticed how much better she felt all-around. She was able to maintain a great health, and with it, her mood.

While Yvette loved the way she felt with Kyäni products, months of social distancing and a broken ankle took a toll on her body. She was at her heaviest weight ever in June 2021, when she was invited to become a Nitro Nutrition™ Influencer.

“All I was looking for, honestly, was just to be able to put my socks on without being winded,” Yvette said.

She admits she was hesitant to start, worried that it would be another failed weight loss attempt. But she committed to trying anyway.

Yvette’s busy schedule often requires her to work 16-hour days, leaving her with little time to cook or exercise. To help ensure she was following the plan, she meal preps in her own way. When she made dinner, she’d make extra to eat the next day.

“I actually realized I wasn’t eating badly, I just wasn’t eating properly,” Yvette said.

She also sets an alarm on her phone to remind her to eat every three hours, even if it’s a handful of nuts and a Kyäni HL5®.

“It’s amazing. Just the simplest things that I’ve changed,” she added.

Not only is she eating macronutrient-balanced meals throughout the day, she’s also drinking more water, finding more ways to get extra steps in daily, and making healthier choices overall. She’s thrilled to share she never goes through drive thru anymore.

Since she began the program in June, she has consistently lost around 2-3 pounds per week and is well on her way to achieving her ultimate goal.

“It’s simple, it’s very, very simple. If I can do it, then anybody can do it.”

Yvette said most of her family is heavy-set and she rarely saw foods like fruit on the table as a kid. Nitro Nutrition has helped her find new ways to not only stay healthy but also enjoy food. She even stuck with the plan while balancing a few goodies during family get-togethers over the holidays.

Yvette can’t say enough about how helpful the community has been throughout her journey. She loves the coaching calls on the Nitro Nutrition Life Facebook and Instagram pages on her way home from work and does her best to tune into takeover Tuesdays and other fun Nitro-inspired activities.  

One of her proudest moments came recently when she went shopping for a new dress for the 2022 Kyäni Kickoff.

“Nitro Nutrition has changed my life,” she said. “I’m back to my old self.”

“I’m not going to put my name on something that doesn’t work,” Yvette said. But thanks to her incredible Nitro Nutrition journey, she proudly says, “I will never stop sharing. Never.”

Now, this self-proclaimed skeptic can’t stop sharing Nitro Nutrition with the world. The people in Yvette’s life see how much she’s changed on the inside and out and often ask her what she’s doing.

“Even if you think you don’t know if you’re going to do it because you don’t want to fail, just do it,” Yvette said. “Just try it.”

Yvette’s Top Tips

1. Define your ‘Why’ – “If you do this, what are you looking to get out of it?” Whether you want to feel better, sleep better, or just see if it works, determine why you’re starting the journey.

2. Take your before and after photos and your measurements no matter how much you might not want to. You’ll be surprised at how much you progress during those first 21 days and beyond.

3. Listen to your body — “I never thought in a million years I would say something like that.”

“No matter what you put your mind to, you can do it. If you’re ready to do it, you can have success.”
