Annatto Bush Seeds Ingredient Spotlight

The annatto bush, or as it is often called the lipstick plant, is an oily plant that grows in South America, primarily Brazil and Mexico. Its scent is described as “slightly peppery with a hint of nutmeg” and flavor as “slightly nutty, sweet, and peppery.”

The seeds contain bixin, a bright red carotenoid pigment. The lipstick-red color is what gives the tree its common name. The seeds were once used to dye clothing, but these days serve mostly as a coloring for foods.

Annatto Bush Seeds are the only natural compound in the world that offers the potency of pure Tocotrienols, the most powerful form of Vitamin E.

But what are tocotrienols?

Tocotrienols come in alpha, beta, delta and gamma forms, together making up vitamin E.

Vitamin E is an essential vitamin and antioxidant which supports all of the organs in your body. And in addition, Vitamin E in the form of Tocotrienols from the Annatto plant provide more valuable nutrition to keep us healthy.
