Top 10 Items for Your Convention Packing List

One of the most exciting, yet challenging parts of any big event is getting those bags packed. Not to worry, we’re here to help unload some of the extra luggage stress with a special packing list that will have you Convention-ready in no time.

Here’s what we recommend:

1. Business Attire ­– We recommend a couple outfits, one for each general session day. And for those of you gracing the stage for the recognition segments, be sure to pack a bit more upscale business wear for your big moment in the spotlight.

2. Casual Attire – Don’t leave those casual outfits behind either – They’re great for a leisurely stroll around the strip and all the fun adventures you’ll be having in the City of Lights.

3. Your Most Glamorous Outfit – Guys it’s time to break out those fancy suits and ties, and ladies, get those dresses and heels ready. Convention boasts not one, but two fabulous parties! Get all decked out in your favorite cocktail attire for Drai’s Nightclub. Then, get your glam on with gorgeous formal wear for the Recognition Gala Dinner. And don’t forget to bring your favorite masquerade mask!

4. Sweater or Jacket ­– We know bringing this to the desert in the summer sounds silly right? Take our word for it, you’ll want something light and cozy for those air-conditioned ballrooms. Plus, it’ll make those cool Vegas evenings much more comfortable.

5. Swimsuit and Pool Goodies – Vegas hotels are known for their lavish pools (especially at our Kyäni hotels, Paris and Bally’s), and the May weather is ideal for enjoying some down time in the sun. Be sure to bring your favorite swimsuit and any fun pool floaties or toys to make the most of your pool time.

6. Your Go-To Electronics – Whether you prefer a camera, an iPad, a tablet, a cell phone, or all the above, don’t forget to pack these essentials. You’ll want them for pictures, note-taking, networking, and more.

7. Selfie Stick – While we’re on the electronics note, a camera or phone wouldn’t be complete without this perfect photo accessory! Forget that awkwardly placed camera with a timer that never seems to snap at the right moment. Capture all the event action alongside your amazing Kyäni crew with that convenient little stick.

8. Extra Bag or Suitcase – What could possibly be so important that you’d want to carry around more luggage?
