Core140+ Moist and Delicious Chocolate Chip Banana Bread prep time: 10 min cooking time: 50 min serving size: 1 loaf Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup Core140+1 tbsp dutch process cacao powder1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp sea salt3 large ripe bananas (~1.5 cups mashed)1/4 cup melted unsalted butter1/4 cup vegetable oil1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar1 large egg1 tsp pure vanilla extract1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided Instructions Pre-heat your oven and grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with butter. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, Core140+, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork. Add the melted butter and oil and stir until combined. Stir in the dark brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.Fold in the dry ingredients but don’t over mix. Fold in 3/4 cup of the semi-sweet chocolate chips.Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle the top with remaining chocolate chips. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50min or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out mostly clean. Oven times may vary.
