Grow together with Kyäni Caring Hands!

Since its inception in 2010, Caring Hands has worked tirelessly to offer hope to those who need it most. Caring Hands has performed services throughout the world, rendering aid in the event of disasters, coordinating service within our own communities, and organizing annual Caring Hands trips to perform hands-on service in areas that need it the most.

Through the support of Kyäni, Caring Hands is aiming to improve access to education by upgrading and constructing schools in regions that are too poor to support the educational needs of local children. In the Chiapas region of Mexico, Kyäni has constructed several remote university hubs that enable people in these areas to complete their university educations online. Over 150 students are participating in these university programs, and those who have graduated are bringing both hope and prosperity to their communities by starting businesses, employing local people, and supporting their hometowns.

Angélica Gómez and Matilde Velasco have been studying Human Rights in one of these remote university hubs. Their studies have inspired and impassioned them to dedicate their time and hard work to defending the rights of indigenous women — particularly when it comes to the right to get a good education.

Their work has already been recognized by the Expociencias Chiapas 2020 contest, where Angélica and Matilde won the project of the state award, and will soon be recognized further as they take on the Expociencias 2020 nationwide contest!

Congratulations on your tremendous success, Angélica and Matilde! We are so proud to see what incredible role models you are and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
