It’s Healthy Living Month!


If you were at the Americas Convention, you were one of the first to find out about our exciting announcement! September is the launch of Kyäni’s Healthy Living Movement, and we want to be by your side as you make the journey! Kyäni Corporate will be embarking on our journey toward Healthier Living, and we will be sharing our progress on all of our social media platforms. We of course want all of our Business Partners and Customers to participate in bettering their lives with us! So, where should you start? What Healthy Living journey best fits your needs? Remember, it’s all about balance. We will be focusing on the physical, financial, and spiritual health journeys at Kyäni. Here are ways that you can participate in the Healthy Living Movement with us and find balance in your life!

The Physical Side of Healthy Living

Getting in shape and keeping our bodies strong and healthy is one of the most popular journeys toward Healthy Living that people take. It’s a journey that really, everyone should be taking. However, it doesn’t have to be your focus if you feel there is another area of your health that needs more attention. However, if you do want to focus on a physical healthy living journey, here are some quick tips to get started:

1. Get rid of the junk food. Go through your cupboards–is there anything in there that doesn’t need to be there? You know what you’re looking for: cookies, processed foods, boxed/bagged foods, etc. Focus on getting rid of sweets and unnecessary foods first if you’re not sure where to start.

2. Shop on the outside of the grocery store–work on buying more fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. Look for recipes that use the least amount of processed food ingredients and then shop for them! Do the never-ending unhealthy options at the store tempt you too much? Consider ordering groceries online. Ordering online makes it easier to only search for the items you need!

3. Start a fitness routine–Aim to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, 3-5 times a week, whether that be walking, running, cycling, using the elliptical, swimming, team sports, etc. Experiment with a few different routines and find one that you actually enjoy. The journey will be more fulfilling if you like what you are doing! Make sure you are aware of any medical limitations by visiting with a healthcare provider before you start any new physical routine. Lastly, make sure your goals are attainable. If you make goals that’s too big, you’ll burn out. Start small and increase your activity gradually.

The Financial Side of Healthy Living

Health isn’t always about eating well and exercise. Finances are also a significant part of our well-being. If you’re stressed about money, your body and mind are affected. How do you manage your finances? Do you have trouble saving money? Maybe it seems like there is never enough to go around. If so, maybe you should consider taking a financial Healthy Living journey. Here are some areas that you can get started with:

1. Prioritize and Automate Savings—If you are living paycheck to paycheck, it can seem impossible to save money. However, there are often purchases you make that are not always necessary. Consider prioritizing savings above other expenses. Automate your savings so you don’t have to remember to deposit new money every paycheck.

2. Automate Bill Payments—If you haven’t already, automate your bill payments. It reduces the stress of remembering which bills need paid and when, plus you will avoid potential late fees! Making timely payments also can help boost your credit score. Just remember to check your bank balance often to avoid overdraft fees.

3. Cut unnecessary recurring expenses—Review your last few bank and credit card statements and make a list of recurring expenses. If you see something that you don’t really value or need, get rid of it immediately!

The Spiritual Side of Healthy Living

Mental health and spiritual health are often very close-knit. What does it mean to take care of your spirit, though? It can be focusing on connecting with others, helping the less fortunate, taking time for yourself, meditating, and spending time strengthening your faith. Here are some things to try if you want start a spiritual health journey.

1. Focus on your goals, values, and beliefs–What brings you joy? What comforts you or helps you realize your purpose? Is your faith important to you? Work to focus and give attention to these things in times of peace and stress. Schedule time with these aspects of your life like you would an important appointment and make sure you are there!  

2. Keep a journal–Write about your joys, sorrows, and fears, as well as your deepest thoughts and feelings. Putting your emotions down on paper can help you express your feelings and move past the negative.

3. Focus on the positive–It can be difficult to focus on the positive, especially when there can be a lot of negative going on around you. However, you will find more peace and joy by focusing on the positive. Volunteer at your local soup kitchen, help us with fulfilling the Caring Hands mission by donating Potato Paks to those in need or attend Caring Hands Service Trips, help someone at work, a friend, or a family member get a job done, these are great examples of places you can make a difference!

Steps to participate in the Healthy Living Movement with us:

So, are you in? Do you want to take the journey toward better health with us? Do you know what area of your life needs attention and balance? If so, we want to see you, encourage you, and inspire you! Take these steps to join the Movement toward a healthier life with Kyäni by your side:

1. Decide on where you want to improve your health. Start small (there’s nothing wrong with that!), set goals, and work your way up to making your health journey everything it can be! Make it meaningful, and know your why for taking the journey!

2. Watch our “Introduction to Healthy Living” Video to get a jump start. Starting a journey can be intimidating. Especially if you aren’t sure how to start. Watch [our introduction video] to help you figure out the steps you will need to take to get a jump start on your Healthy Living journey!

3. Check Kyäni Inc. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for Inspiration, Tips, and Advice.We will be posting tons of resources for you as you take your first steps on your Healthy Living journey! If you’re stuck, need advice, or just need to hear from us and your peers as we take part in this Movement together, we will be there to support you. You won’t want to miss the chance to see hope spread as we share Healthy Living journeys all over the world!

4. Share your Healthy Living Journeys with us! As soon as you choose what Healthy Living journey you want to take, Use the hashtag #healthylivingmovement and share your progress with us on the social media platforms of your choice! (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) Share your stories with us through uploaded video, pictures, or even Facebook Live. Tag us by using @kyäniInc in your post as well! We’d also love it if you shared your stories by posting them to our Kyäni Inc Facebook page, too!
